This module covers the structure and function of the digestive system of a typical mammal (human). The introduction guides the student through an interactive sequence in which the student constructs the digestive system using drag and drop activities and then reinforces the structural integrity with a labelling exercise using the keyboard to type in the names. The module includes X-rays and photomicrographs of the major divisions of the digestive processes. There is a quiz menu item which allows students to self-assess their understanding of the material covered in the module. This is done by a variety of question formats and formative feedback is provided. |
