Geology Education Resource Sites

The Geography Discipline Network (GDN) (Added: Term 1 2000)
Provides pedagogic resources for Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences in Higher Education. The Resources Database currently contains abstracts of interesting and effective teaching, learning and assessment practices in Geography. Abstracts for Earth and Environmental Sciences will be added shortly.

UK Earth Science Courseware Consortium (UKESCC)
Established in 1992 to develop, produce and distribute high quality interactive courseware for use in Earth Science teaching and learning.

Computer Aided Learning in Meteorology from the University of Edinburgh.

COMET
Cooperative Program for Operational Meteorology, Education and Training - includes case studies and computer based training modules.

Automatic Weather Station
Located at Macquarie University the AWS provides access to both real-time and archived data and information is provided on what is measured and the instrumentation used. Links to other Sydney weather observations and an archive of interesting and typical events are also provided.

Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences LTSN
