Review: This product comes as a 2-CD set. Each CD contains very close to all the Figures and some of the Tables contained in Biochemistry by Donald and Judith Voet, 1995. In theory one CD contains images for printing and the other images for projection. I use been using these CD's regularly for a couple of years. In general I only use the projection CD for both projected images and for printing. The program that manages the images on the "Print" disk is clunky and requires inordinate amounts of hard drive space to store the images you have chosen to print. It does not seem possible to print directly from the disk. However if you choose to modify the images, for example cropping, in a program like PaintShop Pro then this "Print" disk is for you. The image managing software on the "Projection" disk is excellent. It enables direct printing in addition to the construction of slide shows. The images are of excellent quality and provide a good supplement to the overhead collection provided with the text book. A slide show constructed with these images combined with 3-D and interactive images from the Kinemages software would complement a lecture presented on protein interactions and behaviours, for example cooperative oxygen binding in haemoglobin. The software is easy to use and a valuable ancillary to the textbook.
