• Enhancing assessment in the biological sciences is a valuable resource for all involved in university science teaching, particularly in the life science disciplines.
• The bioassess website presents, for the first time, a discipline focussed and comprehensive synthesis of good practice in university assessment.
• The project draws upon the experience of university staff and students across Australia, highlighting contemporary issues and presenting effective and innovative approaches to enhancing assessment.
• The website also includes many specific examples of current assessment practice, prepared by academic staff teaching across a diverse array of courses in the biological sciences.
• UniServe Science hosts many additional examples of current assessment practice.
• UniServe Science, via this page, enables further contribution to this resource from the disciplinary community.
