Overall the Datalogging Seismograph has four major components. Click on the images below for details on construction and use.
Seismograph The room in NSW moves about 0.1 mm during a strong quake in Indonesia or New Zealand		Detector "sees" the bar move in front of light detecting resistor. Gives 0-5 volt output		Data logger has analogue to digital converter to turn volts into pulses for the computer		Computer allows kids to see the quake as waves on the monitor over several hours
