Objective
This is the final teacher-led lesson of the course. In it, students are introduced to the historical development of digital technology and how it has become the core of modern communications. In this lesson the various concepts that have been presented during the course will be brought together.

P1 A student outlines the historical development of major principles, concepts and ideas in physics.
P3 … assesses the impact of particular technological advances on understanding in physics
P4 … describes applications of physics which affect society or the environment


D5.1 Students learn to identify types of communication data that are stored or transmitted in digital form

Management issues Nominal duration
The lesson will be one of teacher-led discussion using overheads and/or projector to illustrate along the way.
