The site is divided into 6 sections: a Teacher Guide; a Student Guide; a History Section; an Introduction to Photonics; a section about CUDOS, the Centre for Ultra-high bandwidth Devices for Optical Systems; and this section about the site itself. Each section has its own directory to the content of that section.

At the top of each page there is a navigation bar with a tab for each of the sections. You can select any section simply by clicking on the appropriate tab.

Both the colour of the tab and the image to the right show which section you are in. Clicking on the image will take you up a level in the site.

You can find the source of any image (which is not itself a link to elsewhere in the site) by clicking on that image. This will open up the Copyright page, in a new browser window, at the source of the image selected. Clicking on the URL will take you to the source site. The Copyright page can be reached from any page in the site by clicking in the lower left of the page. Clicking the image in the upper right of the Copyright page will return you to the page you came from.
