Man made features Little Blowhole Headland at Little Blowhole
Look at man made features e.g. churches and schools in the local area. Do they make use of local rocks. At this location, examine the rocks used in the retaining walls and lookout which have made use of local rock material. Compare the width and nature of the rock platform here to the one developed at Pheasant Point. Can you account for the difference? The natural feature here is a smaller blowhole which has been formed in a slightly different way. Many features of the lava flow can be observed here.
