The School of Chemistry is actively engaged in looking at the way in which chemistry is being taught around the world. The recent rapid changes in technologies are pointing to the web being a prime delivery medium for content of the discipline, assessment of student performance and communication between students and staff.
The School of Chemistry, in conjunction with UniServe Science, hosted an IT Workshop on November 16 for all staff interested in web teaching. The program was set by Dr Julia James from the School of Chemistry and the UniServe Science team.
